Duke Machine Learning Spring School: Health AI

Overview

The Duke AI Health Community of Practice will host a three-day in-person class covering perspectives and insights into the fundamentals of generative artificial intelligence methods and applications.

Each day of the class will provide a lecture on the mathematics and statistics at the heart of machine learning, case studies of the methods applied to specific application areas, and a practical session for participants to gain hands-on experience. Topics to be discussed include:

  • Natural Language processing with large language models
  • Information retrieval with large language models
  • Conversational systems with large language models
