The session also highlights common mistakes that can hurt credibility, weaken applications, or reduce the chances of being selected. Participants will leave with practical strategies for using AI to create greater clarity, confidence, and momentum throughout their job search journey.

Lauri Andrews is a career coach and former recruiting leader with more than 35 years of experience helping people navigate career transitions and professional growth.
Her career has included roles with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, UNC Chapel Hill, SAS, and SciQuest/Jaegger, where she recruited and hired the company’s first 75 employees before its IPO. Before launching her career coaching business, she spent 10 years leading Global Career Development at SAS, helping employees grow their careers, pursue new opportunities, and strengthen leadership skills.
Her background in both recruiting and coaching gives her firsthand insight into what employers value and what helps candidates stand out in today’s job market.
Through her coaching business, she works with students and professionals to help them gain career clarity, improve interviewing skills, and develop practical job search strategies to differentiate themselves in a competitive market.
