The Biotechnology Event Sponsorship (BES) grant supports statewide events and meetings that promote information sharing and networking in the areas of life science research, education or business.

Requests for support for national or international meetings being held in North Carolina are eligible for consideration under the BES program.

Any North Carolina-based nonprofit organization planning a conference, workshop or other event in North Carolina focusing on biotechnology or its related aspects may apply for a BES grant.
