The Science and Technology Development team serves the universities and scientific communities in North Carolina. We fund the early transformation of academic innovations into commercial products and build communities of life science professionals who share common interests and goals. We offer grants for event sponsorship, the acquisition of shared-use scientific instruments, projects that explore potential commercial applications of inventions, studies that enable the licensing of university assets, and custom professional training for industry partners.
