Overview

Appalachian State University's College of Arts and Sciences and its STEM departments — Biology, Chemistry and Fermentation Science, Computer Science, Geological and Environmental Sciences, Mathematical
Sciences, and Physics and Astronomy — will host the first STEM Career Day on November 13.

Students will present flash talks and posters, attend industry panel discussions, and meet employers in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, environmental consulting, sustainable energy, medical technology, agriculture, and other STEM-related fields. Industry representatives from across North Carolina will be on campus throughout the day to connect with undergraduate and graduate students.
