BioNetwork partners with NCBiotech and life sciences companies throughout North Carolina to host several career fairs throughout the year. These career fairs serve BioWork, life science and BioNetwork students.

The April 25, 2023 event featured:

• 137 students
• 13 life sciences companies
• Four job placement agencies
• 11 community colleges
• Six universities

Plants have a powerful immune system that relies on population level diversity of innate immune receptors. We have analyzed within species diversity of receptors in Arabidopsis, soybean and maize and uncovered that a subset of genes evolves rapidly though mutations at the ligand binding sites.
