BioNetwork's Spring 2024 Career Fair will be held in partnership with biopharmaceutical and life science companies in North Carolina. The event is open to life science students, program graduates, and job seekers with at least six months of experience in the industry.

Central Carolina Community College Career Expo

The Career Expo will introduce middle and high school students to universities and colleges. The Expo will also include employers, so that students may explore different career options that might be of interest in the future. The Expo will start at 10:00 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m.

The job fair is for employers currently hiring individuals interested in seeking a career change – and for job seekers. Everyone in the community is welcome to attend. The Job Fair will begin at 2:00 p.m. and end at 6:00 p.m.

Underutilized in this Army S&T enterprise is the skilled talent deriving from HBCU/MIs. Attend this two-day workshop to participate in discussions around the future of these emerging partnerships. A number of travel grants are available.

The North Carolina Biotechnology Center is turning 40 years old. NCBiotech was founded in 1984, the first organization of its kind, as a catalyst for technology-based economic development in life sciences.  

As we celebrate this important milestone, it is important to take stock of where we have been, how far we have come as a life sciences hub, and where we are headed next. 

NC OSHERC 2024 Spring Institute: Biosafety for Safety and Health Professionals


This course will cover microbiology, principles of infectious disease transmission, occupational infections, bloodborne pathogens, risk assessment, biosafety levels, biological safety cabinets (including decontamination), among other topics. 

It is intended for any occupational safety and health professionals who may work in, manage, or oversee safety for biological laboratories and may be viewed as an introduction to or review of basic concepts.
