Early-stage businesses face a unique set of foundational challenges as they grow. The “Business of Innovation” is a workshop series offered in multiple locations throughout North Carolina that highlights the needs of innovation-driven companies, including university spinouts.

Learn from experts in the areas of dilutive and non-dilutive funding, legal & IP, business development, and university tech transfer, and network with successful entrepreneurs.

This two-day workshop will provide eight hours of hands-on group activities and discussions facilitated by recognized industry experts. Topics of discussion include the theory of developing a great contamination control strategy and how to translate that theory into actual practice. Attendees will acquire the skills needed to create holistic contamination control strategies covering all aspects of the manufacturing operation, including facility design and utilities, environmental control, validation and monitoring, and quality systems.
