Three outstanding life sciences leaders are among the 25 awardees of the Triangle Business Journal 2023 Women in Business Awards.

TBJ says the annual awards program recognizes Triangle women "who have proven to be dynamic and outstanding leaders with established track records of significant accomplishments" in business and/or community service.

“The North Carolina Biotechnology Center applauds the incredibly important work done by Eva Garland, Jessica Neil and Laura Potter,” said NCBiotech President and CEO Doug Edgeton. “We congratulate these talented Ph.D.-degreed professionals, who represent the diverse nature of the life sciences community and the wide variety of leadership roles women play in moving forward this vital sector.”

This award is further proof not only of her contributions to MedPharm but to our entire community.”

Potter was named AgBiome’s new chief science officer in November 2022.
