James F. Dillman III, Ph.D, Chief Scientist, Research and Engineering Directorate, Defense Health Agency
Dr. James F. Dillman III serves as the Chief Scientist for the Research and Engineering Directorate at the Defense Health Agency (DHA). In this role, he develops strategic research vision and planning and serves as an advisor to leadership for medical research.
He oversees the Office of the Chief Scientist, which leads DHA’s research and innovation strategy, driving scientific direction and research initiatives to align with validated needs and ensuring the transition of science and technology (S&T) capabilities to support Joint Force operational medicine and the military health system.
