Charlotte/Kannapolis Grants & Loans Information Sessions (January 2020)
Tracey du Laney, Ph.D., director, Science & Technology Development at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, will join us in the region Tuesday, January 28 to present an informational seminar on NCBiotech funding and services of interest to academic researchers and industry partners (e.g. life sciences, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, related physical sciences). We will host a morning session at UNC Charlotte’s main campus and an afternoon session at NC Research Campus in Kannapolis.
The goal is to further awareness of our grant and loan programs and answer your proposal questions. Content will be of interest to postdocs, core facilities directors, senior research administrators, tech transfer staff, research development staff, business developers, entrepreneurial support resources, department chairs, etc.
Light refreshments will be served.

UNC Charlotte Directions
CRI Parking Deck 1 is open to visitors, faculty/staff, and students. Visitors please note: Cars parked along roadways or in unauthorized parking spaces may be ticketed.
NC Research Campus (Kannapolis) Directions
Free parking is available in the adjacent parking deck and marked spaces along the street.
Registration
Both sessions are free, however registration is required for facilities/refreshment planning.
