Process development technicians create processes to manufacture new products and implement improvements to current processes. 

A process development technician analyzes data sourced from current processes, executes experiments, gathers test data and analyzes the data using statistical techniques.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing protocols to develop new processes
  • Improving existing processes
  • Researching and implementing new methods and technologies to enhance operations
  • Collaborating with others to meet process goals

  • Assemble, operate, clean, and disassemble bench-scale equipment
