More than 25 companies and staffing agencies will be hiring for 100 jobs in biomanufacturing. While the event targets BioWork certificate, life science degree and BioNetwork students, anyone can attend.

Companies participating in the virtual event include Biogen, Lilly, Grifols, GSK, Merck, Pfizer and Seqirus.

North Carolina community college students and alumni are eligible to have their resumes reviewed before the event.

Virtual job fairs match potential employees with biopharma companies

BioNetwork held its last job fair in April when students and job seekers interviewed for 100 positions with 25 biopharmaceutical and job placement companies.

A talent acquisition consultant with Holly Springs-based Seqirus credits the job fairs with introducing the company to qualified candidates.

"Seqirus relies heavily on the BioNetwork career fairs to identify candidates,” said the consultant. “We chatted with over 40 candidates and have 20+ follow-up calls scheduled with talented candidates. We look forward to these events to help us as we grow our campus and business."

BioNetwork provides economic and workforce development for the life sciences across North Carolina. It offers education, training and laboratory resources to students and corporate partners.
