The Wilson Economic Development Council received $100,000 to purchase key equipment to enable local training partners to better support cultivated meat R&D, and to train students and future employees in the field. Believer Meats plans to create 100 new jobs and invest $123M in Wilson to establish a cultivated meat facility.
