Project Description:
The Town of Holly Springs received $200,000 to increase awareness of biomanufacturing and life sciences careers. This partnership with FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies will facilitate professional development and experiential learning opportunities for middle school and high school teachers and students in Wake County schools, strengthening the local workforce development ecosystem. FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies plans to create 725 new jobs in Holly Springs.
