The Wake Forest University School of Medicine received $150,000 to support the purchase of a next generation X-ray generator and cooling system for its X-ray diffraction system that will allow scientists to study the atomic structure of proteins, nucleic acids, and other molecules and will aid in the discovery of new drugs.
