Project Description:
Plakous Therapeutics is developing a regenerative medicine therapy, Protego-PDâ„¢, for the prophylactic treatment of Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC), an inflammatory intestinal disease occurring in premature, low weight babies. The SRL funds will be used to scale up GMP manufacturing, complete toxicology and shelf-life studies and validate release assays and sterilization protocols.
