Animal Cancer DX was founded to develop a non-invasive method of canine cancer screening using the highly sensitive olfactory system of C. elegans to detect volatile organic compound in cancerous dog urine. The company has been awarded a $100,000 SRL to fund development of a microfluidics-based screenings, test prototypes and conduct validation studies.
