Ideal Medical, Inc. (IMT) is an Asheville, NC based medical device company focused on the development of an Artificial Pancreas device utilizing novel Artificial Intelligence at the patient bedside. IMT's first product is the FUSIONâ„¢ system that has been designed to provide glucose control for critically ill and diabetic patients. The company has been awarded a $250,000 loan to help fund two Phase I clinical trials of its FUSION device in both COVID-19 and non-Covid patients.
