Development of Precision Epigenetic Medicines for Rare Disease

Epigenous Biosciences has developed technology to treat Friedreich's Ataxia, an autosomal recessive, progressive disease that results in poor neurological development and cardiac complications. Using a novel mechanism of separating the gene therapy and the activator, Epigenous solves multiple challenges with current gene therapies. The SRL funds will be used to perform in vitro and in vivo studies, a freedom to operate search, IP strategy assessment, and market evaluation.
