Project Description:
Cancer hijacks signaling events to promote tumor growth, as well as allowing the tumor to develop therapy resistance. Using artificial intelligence, researchers will determine the genome-wide mutational landscape for key enzyme substrates and pathways in cancer signaling. The results will then be developed into possible therapeutic hits by wet-lab techniques. This reveals novel tumorigenic mechanisms and define mutation-signatures as biomarkers to select patients for and predict responses to cancer therapies.
