Project Description:
This project will refine infrared detection and chemical analysis methods for the rapid and accurate detection of disease-carrying mosquitoes. This a effort to improve mosquito surveillance methods for container-inhabiting Aedes mosquitoes responsible for the transmission of regional and global emerging viral diseases (e.g. dengue, Zika, La Crosse encephalitis).
