Project Description:
The soybean cyst nematode (SCN) is a devastating pest to soybean crops that causes 1.5 million yield losses annually. SCN are microscopic roundworms that infect the roots of soybeans but above-ground symptoms are not always visible, so farmers do not know the reason for crop loss and plant damage. This project will develop organic soybean seed coatings provide efficient, environment-friendly, and reliable strategies for SCN management.
