Upstream Biotechnology of Durham received $250,000 support the next phase of development of their SwitchBlade platform. The technology uses RNA biology and genetic engineering to fine-tune genetic circuits, precisely controlling plants’ natural broad-spectrum immune system, to deliver durable, season-long protection against diseases.
