This nanoscience innovation is aimed at enhancing a chip-based biosensor for selective detection of protein biomarkers for cardiovascular disease (CVD) in blood samples. This promising and potentially life-saving technology seeks to deliver a cheaper, faster and more accurate point-of-care device assisting first responders, clinicians and others to quickly diagnose heart attacks.
