NC American Society for Microbiology 2026 Conference
As a recurring hallmark of the state’s scientific community, the North Carolina American Society for Microbiology (NC- ASM) annual conference continues to serve as a vital platform for fostering inter-institutional collaboration and showcasing trainee research. This year, the NC-ASM annual meeting will be held at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
The program will feature keynote presentations from Maria Hadjifrangiskou, an ASMDL Distinguished Lecturer, and Bradley Tolar, an Assistant Professor from North Carolina. Additionally, concurrent sessions will feature talks by graduate and undergraduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and junior faculty highlighting innovative research in North Carolina. Finally, the conference will feature an agar art exhibit with submissions from the agar art competition.
