FDA approves Priovant’s oral treatment for dermatomyositis

Durham-based Priovant Therapeutics has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for Lisraya (brepocitinib) 30 mg for the treatment of adults with dermatomyositis. Lisraya is a first-in-class TYK2/JAK1 inhibitor that is taken orally once a day.
