Ag Tech Professional Forum
Climate Change: Consequences for Ag and Industry's Response
Join friends and colleagues from our region and share what’s happening in North Carolina’s ag tech industry. The Ag Tech Professional Forum is a series held throughout the year providing the opportunity to learn about N.C.’s diverse agricultural resources, while also offering a setting for networking and engagement outside of our normal workspaces. See the agenda below for the upcoming Forum topic and details.
Agenda
February's Forum will discuss agriculture's extreme vulnerability to the vagaries of climate change. Higher temperatures can lead to decreased yields and the increased proliferation of weeds and pests. Speakers will discuss how their companies are addressing these challenges for the future of agriculture.
