Jen Greenstein, Ph.D.
Associate Director, Business Development and Investor Engagement
Jen joined the Emerging Company Development team at NCBiotech in May 2020 as the associate director of business development and investor engagement. In this role, she facilitates relationships between investors and early-stage North Carolina life science companies.
With the goal to promote innovation in North Carolina, Jen had internships at the Office of Research Commercialization at NC State, the North Carolina Office of Science, Technology & Innovation in the Department of Commerce, and the Small Business & Technology Development Center. Experience in diverse aspects of life science business development provides her with insight to better support biotechnology companies and strategize growth.
Jen has a scientific background and previously conducted lab research at RTI International and Piedmont Biofuels. She holds a doctorate of microbiology and a Professional Science Master of Microbial Biotechnology at North Carolina State University. Jen also holds bachelor's degrees in biology and education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
