Research Triangle Park personalized nutrition company Panaceutics Nutrition Inc. today announced the market launch of a new line of single-serve nutritional products compounded for the general public.

The company calls the brand i-Vive. The branded nutritional support products are tailored to meet specific nutritional goals that Panaceutics says customers have identified as important to their health.  The first product released, i-Vive Immune Support, is designed to help support immune health.

Panaceutics says it plans to release more products that address specific health needs in the next few months.

Panaceutics is a leader in customized and personalized nutrition, leveraging years of research in formulations and automation to create pleasant-tasting products that combine a range of micro- and macronutrients, fibers and other beneficial ingredients in a single serving packet that is easy to use and can be consumed anywhere.

“Through our work with channel partners, we have demonstrated the ability to create truly personalized nutritional products,” said Edison Hudson, the company’s founder and chief technology officer.

“The i-Vive brand allows us to create products for specific needs or customer segments that may not need complete personalization initially. Our i-Vive products have the same benefits as our personalized products – combining great nutrition with a convenience and flexibility unmatched by other nutrition products, in an exceptionally tasty fruit puree.”

The i-Vive Immune Support products can be purchased on the i-Vive brand website. The Immune Support product was specifically formulated to provide nutrients that support immune health, including vitamins A, B complex, C and D, minerals such as selenium and zinc, and other ingredients demonstrated to provide immune support such as elderberry concentrates and beta-glucan.

The product comes in two strengths, each listed at a $5 discount. The Daily version sells for $40 for a two-week supply, or $2.86 a day. The Boost version, with additional vitamins C and D and more elderberry, currently sells for $45 for 14 packs, or $3.21 a day.

Panaceutics Nutrition Inc. was founded in 2018 in Research Triangle Park by Hudson, a robotics inventor and entrepreneur with multiple exits, and Lloyd Staton Noel III, a pharmacologist with 20 years in drug development at GlaxoSmithKline.

Earlier this year the privately held company closed the first tranche of a committed funding round of over $5 million. It’s using the Series A funding to scale production capabilities at a manufacturing facility it’s completing near Danville, Va., and for R&D activities at the RTP headquarters.

The North Carolina Biotechnology Center supported Panaceutics in its early stages with two loans totaling $325,000, and the company has also hosted business interns funded by NCBiotech. Hudson says the company currently has 11 employees.

Panaceutics taps its base of intellectual property and automated processes to provide consumers a spectrum of nutritional products, from mass market offerings such as the i-Vive line to products personalized to an individual, giving consumers the nutrition they need, safely and conveniently.
