Biotech Intro at Kannapolis

K. Paul Knott, curriculum coordinator of the BioNetwork BioBusiness Center at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, will lead a free public discussion, "Biotechnology for the Non-Scientist," on April 16 at The North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis.

The life sciences seminar will be held at the David H. Murdock Core Laboratory Building from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. It will cover an introduction to the science behind the biotech industry, describe biotech-related products, businesses and jobs, and involve audience members in a discussion of how these all fit together for the future of the community.

The BioNetwork is presenting the seminar in cooperation with Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
