This proposal describes new technology that enhances the safety and delivery of clinical positron emission tomography (PET) imaging to the citizens of North Carolina who are underserved by current imaging paradigms. Furthermore, the broad applicability of this technology will facilitate the implementation of personalized medicine strategies that improve patient care.
