Project Description:
BioMedomics has developed and begun to market three qualitative diagnostic tests for sickle cell disease, a group of inherited red blood cell disorders. The company is developing a low-cost, rapid, Point of Care test for the quantitative measurement of specific forms of hemoglobin to aid in effective sickle cell treatment decisions. Real time measurements of these clinical markers will both reduce costs and improve patient outcomes.
