Project Description:
Trends in electronic storage media technologies cannot keep up with the materials, energy, and space demands of the exponentially growing amounts of digital information being generated in the world. DNA holds the potential to disrupt information storage technologies, and prototypes of DNA hard drives are needed. Such a system, inspired by biology, will be engineered in this work.
