Project Description:
This award will fund the production optimization and scale-up of a new, chemically-modified RNA anticoagulant. RNA anticoagulants are safer alternatives to the currently used drugs (e.g. warfarin) for surgery and disease treatment. The increase in production volumes of the anticoagulant through these studies will allow the drug to be tested for further commercialization potential.
