Project Description: Attaching peptide and protein drugs to poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) is a clinically proven method to increase their effectiveness. However PEG induces an undesirable antibody response in some patients. This research will solve this problem by design of a new PEG-like polymer that retains its efficacy but abolishes its antibody response.
