Vizma Life Sciences is developing an automated benchtop hyperpolarization instrument and its first accompanying hyperpolarized injectable agent, pyruvate, that will enable existing magnetic resonance imaging scanners (MRI) to also image metabolic function. The company has received a$ 250,000 SRL to fund development of the hyperpolarized injectable contrast agent signal into a readable MRI image.
