Project Description:
An award made to North Carolina State University will support purchase of a state-of-the-art X-ray diffractometer. This equipment is necessary to determine the precise structure of small molecule compounds and will serve more than 50 research groups in the Research Triangle and across the state for a variety of projects including the synthesis of new antibiotics, HIV drugs, and cancer therapeutics.
