Project Description:
Tracking patient stool and urine output are essential but unappealing hospital tasks that are currently carried out in inaccurate and laborious ways. This research project will develop a hospital toilet device to improve stool and urine tracking, which wiill ultimately help reduce patient mortality and length of stay, as well as decrease nurse workload.
