Defining Precision Nutrition Symposium

The University of North Carolina Nutrition Research Institute (NRI) will host the Defining Precision Nutrition Symposium from May 1-2 in Kannapolis, NC. 

Symposium focus

  • the genetic, epigenetic, microbiome, and environmental sources of human metabolic variability
  • how these variabilities are related to different requirements for, and responses to nutrients
  • methods used to assess the above

Who will attend

Scientists and nutrition and medical professionals from academia, government, and industry will attend to help them understand response to interventions.

Registration

Invitations will be extended based on review of an abstract for a poster to be presented at this symposium.

Abstracts will be reviewed on a rolling basis starting March 1, with decisions expected within two weeks.

To register to attend, please submit a research poster abstract.

Submission deadline: February 28, 2018

Note: There is no registration cost for NRI Faculty, Postdoctoral Fellows, and graduate students. The banquet on May 1 is $40.
