SBIR Road Tour to North Carolina

First Flight Venture Center (FFVC) has been selected to host the SBIR Road Tour to North Carolina on June 22, 2018. This Road Tour stop at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center will bring approximately 20 agency program managers to present their funding priorities/opportunities, lessons learned and common mistakes. Entrepreneurs/business owners can meet one-on-one with program managers to discuss specific SBIR or STTR grants.

This is the only stop in North Carolina for the Road Tour. As a multiple recipient of SBIR funding, First Flight is hosting this important gathering in partnership with NCBiotech, the Small Business Technology Development Center (SBTDC), LaunchBio, NC IDEA, the Council for Entrepreneurial Development and NCBIO.

As an added bonus, on June 21, SBTDC is offering a content-packed grant writing "how-to" workshop on commercialization, proposal development and review process and advice from SBIR winners. That will be held in the LaunchBio facility at The Chesterfield in downtown Durham.
