NCTERMS Annual Conference 2018

This one-day event will include a keynote lecture from Dr. Krishnendu Roy, director of the National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center for Cell Manufacturing Technologies at Georgia Tech, as well as a series of invited speakers from North Carolina including Drs. Ke Cheng, Barbara Nsiah, Shay Soker, Tatiana Segura, Ashley Brown, Samira Musah, Emmanuel Opara, and Wesley Legant.

Abstracts for posters will be accepted through November 26 on the following topics:

  • Stem Cell Biology and Cell Therapy
  • Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering
  • Translational Research in Regenerative Medicine
  • Biofabrication

There will be a poster competition open to all students and post-doctoral fellows. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The abstract template and submission are available at https://ncterms.org/abstracts/.

More Information

The North Carolina Tissue Engineering Group was first organized in 1998 to foster collaborations in tissue engineering throughout North Carolina, with the strong desire to be geographically and institutionally inclusive.  In 2010, the Board decided to reorganize as the North Carolina Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Society (NCTERMS) as an educational and scientific association. It is the purpose of NCTERMS to provide information and educational opportunities to fellow researchers, scientists, students and staff on advances in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine in the State of North Carolina.
