March for Science Triad 2018
March for Science Triad will join hundreds of locations around the world on Saturday, April 14th to rally and march, celebrating the incredible accomplishments of science, advocating for improved science education, supporting evidence based science, and demanding that lawmakers consider this evidence, not partisan politics, when creating policies. This year's theme is Vote Science!
Join us in Greensboro as we will celebrate the research going on in our local universities with a student poster session. Kids will enjoy hands-on activities including the NanoBus from the Joint School. Be sure to hear speeches on aspects of science and public policy that focus on ways to hold elected and appointed officials accountable to evidence-based practice. This outdoor event is part of the NC Science Festival.
