Adam King, Director of Emerging Growth & Consulting, Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP

Adam has over 15 years of public accounting experience. He joined Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP in 2020. Prior to joining HPG, Adam was the CFO for Netsertive, Inc. and prior to that was the Managing Assurance Director for BDO’s Greenville, South Carolina office. Adam works with both public and non-public clients in a variety of industries including information technology, medical device, life science and biotechnology, and service companies. Adams’ areas of concentration include financial reporting, strategic business consulting, and technical accounting.

Lauren Joyce, Director of Audit Services / Partner at Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP

Lauren has 15 years of experience in public accounting. She joined Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP in January 2006 and became a partner in 2016. She was previously with the regional firm, Feeley & Driscoll, LLC, working in the Boston office as an in-charge healthcare auditor.Lauren manages the Firm's Equity Solutions team which provides outsourced stock option administration, consulting, and reporting for both public and private companies. She is Director of Audit Services and works with a variety of clients in the knowledge-based and CleanTech industry as well as companies with government grants and contracts.

Christopher Poe, JD, Attorney, Wyrick Robbins

Christopher’s practice focuses on corporate transactions. He helps businesses of all sizes and in all stages of development, from organization to exit, and often serves as outside general counsel for emerging growth companies. He assists startups with financings, including angel and venture fundings, and advises them on securities issues. He also works with venture capital and private equity funds in their formation and investment activities. Prior to joining the firm, Christopher was an associate at Brooks Pierce. Christopher received his BA from the University of Georgia and his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Stuart M. Rigot, JD, Attorney, Wyrick Robbins

Stu represents public and private companies in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, securities law, banking regulation, capital formation, and commercial contracts. He regularly represents financial institutions and their holding companies in mergers and other strategic combinations, both as buyers and sellers. Additionally, in his transactional practice, Stu has significant experience advising banks on branch acquisitions and divestures, bank regulatory applications, private placements of securities, recapitalization transactions, and a wide range of general corporate governance matters. He frequently provides strategic regulatory advice to community banks as they grow and expand their business, both organically and through acquisition.
