2018 SciTech Lecture Series: Natures Crops-Omega 3s

November's SciTech lecture titled "Omega’s From Soil to Oil Addressing a Scientific
Need with a Natural and Sustainable Solution" will be presented by Andrew Hebard, CEO, founder, president and CEO at Technology Crops International.

When he’s not running a company, he’s playing in the dirt, growing unusual crops to make really smart products. When he’s not playing in the dirt, he’s traveling the oceans looking for really feisty fish. When he’s not traveling the oceans, he’s thinking about other unusual crops to grow. An entrepreneur combining business, nature and wellness–with fun. Andrew has over 25 years of experience in building and managing specialty crop agribusiness around the world, serving as managing director and chief executive officer roles for the past 18 years. Originally from Suffolk, England, he relocated to Winston-Salem, N.C., founded Technology Crops International in 2004 and serves as president and CEO. Andrew is proud to be a holder of the Royal Warrant, to serve as chairman for two charitable trusts and is an Hons graduate in agricultural
science.
