Patty Gravinese, CPA

Patricia J. Gravinese (Patty), CPA, is a senior financial executive who has served as a value-added partner to chief executive officers and other top management in a variety of industries including local government finance, not for profits, and public accounting. Patty's background in financial and operational leadership includes technical expertise in government and not for profit accounting, investments, debt issuance, capital planning, financial reporting and adherence to GAAP standards. As Controller for the Biotechnology Center and a member of the senior management team, Patty is responsible for all of the Center's financial functions including accounting and purchasing, contracts and grants, corporate administration and the Hamner Conference Center. Patty has a strong commitment to ensuring financial integrity, operational efficiency, and achievement of the vision and goals of the Center.
In addition to her professional experience, Patty is a member of the Advisory Council and the Loan Review Committee for the North Carolina Local Government Federal Credit Union. She is also a member of several professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA).
Patty earned her BS degree from San Jose State University.
