About
Dasiané joined NCBiotech in January 2023. She is a part of the workforce development team, as the program coordinator for the NC Life Sciences Apprenticeship Consortium. She collaborates with industry members and community college partners to implement the program by sharing required information, tracking, and reporting duties to ensure that the program is compliant with the registered apprenticeship system and shares training and career opportunities in life sciences manufacturing with apprentices.
Dasiané attended Morgan State University and received a bachelor’s degree in print journalism. She also holds a master’s degree in school administration from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dasiané has 7+ years of professional experience in K-12 public education and edtech. She is a Teach for America and AmeriCorps alumna. Before joining NCBiotech, she held roles at Durham Public Schools, and Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools as a science educator and principal intern.
