In 2021, both FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies and Amgen announced plans to establish biomanufacturing sites in Holly Springs and create more than 1,000 jobs in the town. In the same year, Crescent Communities began developing the Yield, a new life sciences campus that will support future growth. Local life sciences leaders provide industry insights into why diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) is important to their success and share examples of effective partnerships and initiatives for promoting DE&I in North Carolina and beyond.
