A former agricultural biochemist turned research analyst, Karin brings unique strengths of scientific understanding and analysis to her projects. Clients value her ability to quickly grasp new concepts and distill key information from authoritative sources into concise, insightful reports, aiding in the development of business plans, grant applications, and pitch decks. As a lifelong learner, Karin enjoys diving into new subjects, and appreciates opportunities to partner and problem-solve with researchers, entrepreneurs, consultants and students, developing innovative approaches to challenging information needs.
Karin holds an M.S. degree in Crop and Plant Sciences from NC State University as well as a Master’s in Library Science from North Carolina Central University. Before becoming a librarian, she worked as an associate scientist at a multinational company.
