Startup Wanted for $100K AgTech Innovation Prize

Alexandria Launch Labs is offering a $100,000 prize that includes $75,000 in cash and a one-year membership at Alexandria Center for AgTech for one innovative startup.

The invitation to apply is open to early stage companies that are innovating in crop enhancement and protection, digital and data solutions, animal health, breeding and genetics, next-generation farming and food, or supply chain solutions. The Alexandria Center for AgTech membership includes access to services for two individuals, state-of-the-art amenities and company-building support for one laboratory bench and one workstation. The membership is valued at $25,000 and located in the heart of RTP.

Applicants will enter a multiphase selection process. Companies that pass through the review stage will participate in a pitch contest in the Research Triangle attended by investors and industry experts. Travel stipends will be provided to companies invited to this stage.

Alexandria will host an information session and Q&A on January 23 at 2 p.m. via Webex. Interested parties need to RSVP and a calendar invite with dial-in information will be sent.

The deadline to apply is January 31st.
